They Love the Hawkeyes

This is a room in the same house that I painted the two dogs in. It's the son's room in the basement. He's going to Iowa now, which makes a lot of sense.

The Hawkeye is about seven feel tall and eleven feel wide and it took me five hours to complete.

Girl's Room

This is a room I completed in October 2008. It took nine hours total. The dots in the corner match the girl's comforter and the dogs are her two Yorkies.

Stay tuned for the Hawkeyes themed room I will be completing for this family soon!

Kniles

This is Kniles. He is a sort of octopus. He was hand sewn and had his face and tentacle suction cups hand painted on him. This guy also needs a good home.

My Monster Bag

I hand sewed this entire bag. It's approximately fifteen inches long and twelve inches wide. The outside is fleece and the inside is lined with a pink silky fabric. The face detailing is made of felt. He has eight saftey eyes, a front mouth pocket, and a top pocket. Inside art four Velcro closing pockets hand painted to look like a stomach, intestines, brain, and uterus. He has cute little legs with purple claws and his arms attach over his head to form the strap. He has a canvas middle layer to make sure he is sturdy. I spent too many hours to count creating him and now he needs a good home. I wont let him go to just anyone.

Plane

I was asked to add to a mural that was already present in a playroom of grandparents in the town I live in. They had six granddaughters and now they have had a grandson. The existing mural was of the six granddaughters (painted by themselves) standing under a rainbow. I was asked to put a plane with a little boy in it to represent the grandson. The entire mural was covered with a faux finish that I was asked to recreate over top the plane to make it match with the rest. I was pleased with the results. This took me five hours to complete.

'Cute Birdie' Crate and Barrel Girl's Room

The little girl's room that this mural is in has bedding from Crate and Barrel called 'cute birdie'. Her mother requested that I take the pattern from the bedding and make something in the room to match. There is a flower arrangement that lands above the girl's headboard and flowers and the little birdie from the bedding that look like they are growing just beside the bed. This took seven hours to complete.

The Disney Castle

I did this mural in a girl's bedroom. It's roughly seven feet tall by four feet wide. There are fireworks and a Tinkerbell to make it look like the castle at the beginning of Disney movies. It took about nineteen hours to complete.

Batman Mural

This Batman logo is from the new Dark Knight movie. The child had Batman themed bedding that matched. It is six feet wide by three feet tall. It took about three hours.

Playroom Mural

These are photos of a playroom mural I did. The left side of the room has 'girly' things and the right side has 'boyish' things as the family has a boy and a girl. It is on three walls and the tree on the left side is used as a transition from the living area of the room to the playroom area. It took about 40.5 hours to complete spanning a period of two weeks in June of 2008.

Beginning

This site will serve as a sort of show room of my murals I've completed in the area and different things I've made that will eventually be for sale.
If you are interested in a mural or you would like me to make something for you, feel free to comment.
